Who Am I?

Terms of Use

Last updated 2 November 2026

Who Am I? is a gallery of honest answers from people all over the world. The short version of these terms: be kind, be honest, be yourself, and remember that what you share is public.

No tolerance for objectionable content or abuse. Every portrait and piece of advice can be reported, and anyone can be blocked. Reports are reviewed promptly. Content that breaks these terms is removed, and people who post it can be banned from Who Am I?.

Who these terms are between

These terms are between you and Taiwo Omisore, who makes Who Am I? in London, United Kingdom. By using Who Am I? you agree to them. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies to the app. Apple isn't responsible for Who Am I? or its content.

Who can use it

Who Am I? is for people aged 16 and over. You must be 16 or over to use it, add a portrait or share advice. What you share is public, so only share what you'd be happy for anyone to see.

What you share

Your portrait and your advice are yours. By sharing them you give us permission to store them, show them in Who Am I? (the gallery, the globe, widgets and share cards), translate them when someone taps Translate, and use them to show what Who Am I? is, for example in its App Store pages. Advice is also shown on onethingeveryone.com and in the Of the Day app. If you delete a portrait or ask us to remove something, we'll stop showing it and won't use it in anything new.

Only share what's yours to share: your own photo and your own words. Don't add photos of other people without their permission, or anything you don't have the right to share.

The app icons

Every face in Who Am I?'s icons belongs to someone who answered. If you offer your portrait for a future icon in Settings › App icon, you confirm you're 18 or over and it's a photo of you, and you give us permission to use it in the app's icon and to show that icon wherever Who Am I? appears, such as the App Store. Not every offer is used. You can take your offer back at any time; if your face is already in a released icon, it'll be replaced in the next update.

What isn't allowed

We may remove anything we believe breaks these terms, and may stop a device from adding more.

Reporting and blocking

Tap ••• on any portrait to report it as spam or inappropriate, or to block the person who added it. Blocking hides everything from them on your device straight away. Every report is reviewed. For anything urgent, email whoami.iosapp@gmail.com.

Supporter and tips

Everything in Who Am I? is free and nothing is locked. Supporter is an optional auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, that thanks you with a few extras. Payment is charged to your Apple Account and it renews unless it's turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Tips are one-off purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

The app itself

We work hard to keep Who Am I? running well, but it's provided as it is, and features may change or end. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from using it. Nothing in these terms affects your rights as a consumer.

Changes and the law

If these terms change, this page and its date will be updated. They're governed by the laws of England and Wales.
